Walter was a wonderful grandfather. A warm and pleasant man. I can't recall a single time that he raised his voice. My best memories of him were his laughs, his homemade ice cream,going to church with him on Sundays and eating breakfast afterwards.

What a joy it was to have met Walter at SNU. I serve there as a volunteer leading a Bible study on Fridays which Walter often attended. I had the privilege of borrowing a copy of his book this fall and enjoyed it very much. He leaves a positive and lasting legacy.
