Walter was a genuinely kind person that truly made an impact on any organization he was involved with, including the Golden Age Centers of Greater Cleveland and the Village of Gates Mills. We were fortunate to have known him and Jean through both The Village and the GAC. May his memory be eternal.

Walt Kalberer was the consummate example of the American Dream. From humble beginnings he amassed a fortune by hard work, keen intelligence, and astute business sense. He was a gentleman - devoted to Jean and his "girls". He was kind and thoughtful and exceedingly generous. He loved both his Gates Mills and his Sanibel homes. He was fun to be with. I will miss him - as I do Jean, very much. We had many good times together. Rest in peace Walt and Jean - together again. Jenny
