Not sure what to say?

I wish to thank everyone who has sent me and my family their caring thoughts of sympathy and memories shared of Walt. He was simply the best, and left us all the better for knowing him. Peace and love, Mary

To Wally, Mary, Jack, Christine and Sheila - we love you all and are here for you

My son Johnny and I met "Big Walt" a few years back. He and his wife Mary are two of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They built a wonderful family together of which we are so grateful to have become a part of. We loved coming over and hearing Big Walt's jokes, poked fun at his Long Island accent and admired the love that he had for his wife and family. He always made us feel...

mary, walt jr,jack, christine and sheila- i'm sorry i couldn't be with you at this sad time. I will
forever remember yor dad as a caring gentle man with a great sense of humor.I used to love to listen to him play the guitar, it was always the highlight of our visits. He also had a wonderful voice. I'm so glad his suffering his over. He accepted his illness with such grace. May he rest in peace. I love you all. Your Uncle Jim Quinn

Jack and family,
We see your Dad's loving peaceful influence in all of you. A father that is a kind friend like your Dad is rare. His musical spirit carries on through you. My family's heart goes out to yours.

The highs and lows in the cycle of life often leave us with our strongest memories. It is our sincerest hope that we can provide you with comfort through this difficult time. We are always here for you, and we love you very much.

Dear Mary and family,
I was unable to make it to Walt's wake and wanted to express my condolences to all of you. I worked with Walt at St. Peter's for a few years before he went into private practice. He was one of the nicest men I ever knew with a wonderful caring way and great sense of humor. He certainly made a positive impression on me and I will remember him always. Sally Rapp(Nurse Lightning)
