Dr. Walter F. Kempe Jr.

While watching Asbury services this morning I saw Dr. Kempe's name on the list of members who have passed. I worked with him at TRMC and he was my doctor for years. He was a great guy. My sympathies.

I just read of Dr. Kempe's passing. As a medical student I was assigned to Dr. Kempe. He taught me so much regarding patient care. Be honest, keep it simple, try to always say something positive and touch the patient, hold their hand, pat them on the shoulder. He was a wonderful instructor and his lessons have served me well during my 40 years of clinical practice. He was a fantastic mentor for a young physician, thank you Dr. K. I am sorry to learn of the death of Walter Kempe, one fine fellow and a very good man. Rest in Peace, dear Dr. Kempe. ann patton, Orlando.
