I last saw Kirk in the spring of 2001, when Kathy and I visited him in Florida. He gave me a pair of paintings he had created, which I will always cherish. My fond memories include times we spent at the old stone "farm" house near Morrisville, rides in the back of the big ol stake truck (no seat belts or helmets), huddling with the family during the blizard of '66 and gathering around the paino while he played the good ol songs or Christmas carols and somtimes Bev, Barb and Kathy would sing...
