Walter S. Kiebach

What a most perfect neighbor and friend I was favored by the friendship and many kind gestures of Olivia and Walter Kiebach. Sharing dinners, evening walks and good conversation will always be precious to me. I know they are both in heaven enjoying each other again. They were very special in my life and I will never forget their kindness and love.

Like Walter, I was born and raised in Reading PA. He and I got to know each other at a club where we played squash- although I am/was somewhat younger than Walter, he always won. He was a natural athlete.Our squash continued over the years in Reading and at The New York Athletic Club, where we would get together after a day of work in the Big Apple. Walter was one of the most pleasantly outgoing people I've ever known and had quite an assortment of New York friends including the famous sports...

Oh dearie me, it is difficult to think that Walter has gone away from this earth. He was and is a dear friend and we will miss him terribly in the days and years ahead. He was firm and steady. He loved the Chapel where I served for almost a decade. The Olivia Kiebach Gardens are a beauty to behold. He loved Olivia through her life AND in the years since she passed away. God bless all of you in the family who were so good to Walter, and also those who cared for him so wonderfully.
