Met Kitt when he was at PSU. His roommate Dick Nester and I were friends from Allentown and I became acquainted with Kitt(West Halls the same room for many years). I knew him as Kitt and not Wally and lost touch after their graduation. Too young! Sorry for your loss!

Rest in peace Wally...As I searched for a card to send to my niece and nephew the first one I picked up said in memory of a special man as I looked and looked I returned to that card as it is so appropriate...We had some great times with Wally both in MA and CA...When he was here the guest room had a balcony and Wally would sit out there and read and watch the animals including of course the birds...The balcony will be forever known as Wally's porch...On one of our visits Wally had recently...

Today I learned of Mr. K's passing. He was the first person to introduce me to the world of biology. I vividly remember my first look under a microscope in his class. We were looking at yogurt and I was amazed (and grossed out) to see that there were organisms moving under the lens. That was the beginning of my relationship with biology that has continued to amaze and gross me out! I feel blessed to have had such an enthusiastic teacher whose infectious laugh I will never forget. My heart...

Kit we shared many memories years ago. i will never forget our trips to bees place in swansee and of couse west st watching sox games . and our trip to bar harbor . i know you are in a better place now. thanks for the memories.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear of Wally's passing. Wally's had a love of children and his kindness to all that came in contact with him. I am sorry for your loss. On our ice bucket day my program dedicated our buckets to Wally.
