Lynn and family, I was a friend of Walter's. He was a great guy with a big smile. When ever I would see him and ask what he was up too. He would always say SOS. He will be missed by all. John

Walt was always ready with a smile whenever and whatever he was asked to do (I worked with him at ODFW). So sorry to hear of your loss.

So sorry to hear about Walt's passing. I worked with him first at the Fish Commission and then later at ODFW. He always went out of his way to help, no matter how busy he was. I am sure there is a special place in Heaven waiting for him. We have spread the word about him through our ODFW Retiree's newsletter.

MY BROTHER LIVES IN LAKE OSWEGO AND ASK IF I KNEW WALTER KMETIC AND I SAID I KNEW A GARY KMETIC. GARY WAS A HECK OF A FB PLAYER. MY BROTHER SAID THE OBIT REFERRED TO GARY. SO GARY I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR BROTHER'S PASSING. IN HIS PICTURE HE LOOKS A LOT LIKE I REMEMBER YOU. ANYWAY BEST WISHES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
