Not sure what to say?

Dear Maria, Walter Jr. and Michelle I cannot imagine how difficult this month has been for you. For me it has been extremely sad. Walter was a special Boss and friend and I miss his advice and smiling face. I know my staff has been very much affected with the loss of such a special friend but I also know that his memory lives forever in our hearts.

Dear Kreher family

I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Walter and working with him for more than 20 years. He was a wonderful person. He will be sorely missed by all of us that had the pleasure and privlege to interact with him and call him a friend. He was warm, charming intellectual and always honest and straightforward. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He adored his children as you were the apple of his eyes. May his blessed memory live on forever in all our lives. ...

I worked with Walter for many years and truly considered him a friend and professional in every way. We will all miss his smiling face.

Thank you all for your kind words. My Uncle was an amazing man, who loved his family and friends unconditionally. He is greatly missed but his memory will live on forever. We love you Uncle Walter, Now & Forever.

Always in my heart <3

I am so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. He was a dedicated friend, mentor and confidant to his colleagues and a superlative advocate for housing rights. His death is a terrible loss to all of us. We could always count on his empathy, his humor and his clear-eyed understanding, even when we didn't deserve it. He will be sorely missed. Bill Eaton

I was deeply saddened by the news of Walter's passing. It was always a pleasure to work with him in the noble pursuit of preserving housing for those in need. My heartfelt condolences to your family.

To the Kreher Family,
May the peace of God comfort your hearts. Walter was a great boss and a caring person. We at HUD will miss him tremendously.

Please accept my deepest condolences regarding your loss. I had worked with Walter with HUD for several years and was always impressed with his passion and commitment to serving the public. Your family will be in my thoughts.

Dear Maria, Michelle and Walter Junior; I will miss Walter very much. I spent my happiest time with him, I missed not seeing him the last few years. I showed him around when he joined HUD but, he showed me a whole lot when it came to how to enjoy life and use every moment of it. Walter is one of kind, he packed few life terms in the 61 years he lived.
