Not sure what to say?

Mr. Kurth was my German teacher in my freshman and sophomore years at John Adams,1970-1972. Without a doubt he was among the best teachers I ever had in my life. I met Mr.Kurth when he let me help as a volunteer in his German class at John Adams High School. It was a great experience and I appreciated his knowledge and humor.
My condolences to his family.

Walter was my mentor during my early years at the Multnomah County Library. He set the gold standard for customer service that I have tried to follow through my more than 20 years working there. I know he loved his family and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I enjoyed working with Walter at the Multnomah County Library, where his intelligence was always evident. My sympathies are with you, his family.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
