I was a friend of Wally Jr. from elementary until the time he passed away. I lived across the school field and would walk over to visit him after school from time to time after he broke his hip & was diagnosed in the 5th grade. I remember that he was such a smart kid in elementary school, especially in math. I'm sure he was waiting to greet his father with wide open arms after all of this time, as he was taken way too soon.
