Walt was a great leader as President of the Chi Psi fraternity at Wesleyan and on the football field where he was a superb quarterback.
He was always upbeat and a source of inspiration to all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him during our Wesleyan years. May he rest in peace. Jon Stover, Bethesda, Md.

I joined Baltusrol in 1980 and Walter was one of my first golf mates. He welcomed me to the club in a way I will never forget. He will be missed by his fellow members who benefited from his friendship.
