Not sure what to say?

To Walt's family I send condolences on the loss of your dear Walt. Harold Kulm taught with Kay for some time at Harvey Scott School. He is now deceased, but I knew Walt to be a kind and gentle person, completely devoted to his Kay, so send wishes on Harold's behalf. Accept, please, the love of the Kulms, and the many others who will, undoubtedly offer it to you.
Sincerely, Mary L. Kulm

So sorry to have lost touch with Walt and Kay after our retirements. Walt was a good friend and an outstanding fellow teacher at Foster School. Walt enjoyed his students and shared stories and adventures with his fellow teachers.

Condolences to Walt's family. He will be missed.

John and Gina, and all the Lundberg family,

We are sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He sounds like a wonderful person who lived an exemplary life. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

Walt was my 8th grade teacher at Richmond in 57/58. I, too, went into teaching, and while substituting in the early 70s, I ran into him at the school he was at that time. I'm sure that positive influences from him and other educators prompted me to follow the same path. My condolences to his family during this time.

With heart felt sympathy to all.
It was Walt, as my master teacher, for student teacher experience, that taught me more than any University instructors could ever hope to match. The 12 years after, as a fellow teacher at Jim Bridger, was a never ending joy to be around Walt. His lunch room stories of current and life time experiences always ended in a big laugh by all. I feel so blessed to have been able to share those wonderful times with him.

I was a student in Mr. Lundberg's eighth grade class at Jim Bridger during 1961-62. He was a dedicated and effective teacher, and a very patient and humane man. He was an especially positive influence at am important time in our lives. I also remember enjoying his stories about growing up in southeast Portland and his travels as a young man.

Rob, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Sending prayers to you and your family during this time.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Lundberg. I had the privilege of having him as my teacher in the seventh and eighth grades at Jim Bridger. He was a wonderful teacher who prepared us so well for our high school years. May your loss be lessened by your special memories of him.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
