Walter William Mack, Jr., 79 of Palmerton, passed away on Saturday November 23, 2024 in his home. Born on June 10, 1945 in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter W. and Florence E. (Daniels) Mack, Sr. Walter and his wife, Marie (Lebish) celebrated 50 years of marriage together. He was employed as a machinist for Precision Roll Grinders in Allentown for many years. In addition, he worked as a janitor for Effort Foundry in Bath. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and an avid outdoorsman. Walter enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, attending car shows with his son, reloading shells with his daughters and traveling out West to big game hunt with his son and grandson.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by his children, Darryl and wife Lynne Mack, Kathy Weiss, Patti Osgood and husband Robert, Joleen Mack and partner, Maxwilliam Harvat, Kristen Kerbacher and husband Richard; grandchildren, Eric, Alyssa, Zachary, Richard, Brandy, Brooke, Adrianna, Sky; sisters, Carol Smith, Joyce Roman, Mary Jones and several nieces and nephews. A grandchild, Gage, great grandchild, Lainey, sisters, Shirley, Marion, Linda and a brother Robert preceded Walter in death.
Services: Family and friends may gather on Thursday, December 5th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St. Northampton. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the NRA in loving memory of Walter.
