I've known Walt for the past 21 years. His knowledge in the aircraft maintenance business was second to none. Outstanding business ethics, knew how to do the job right the first time otherwise it was on him the second time. Highly sought after in the military by top brass, he was flown to many a destination around the world to fix their airplanes, that kind of knowledge and dedication was shown throughout his entire post-military career.
Condolences to Ron and his family.

To the Mangon family, Walt was a true gentleman, I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to catch up w Walt a few months back when I visited the shop last December 2018.
Having done business with Walt, he was so unique and real, and I liked the way he would answer the phone.
Walt's legacy lives on w Mangon Aircraft and the family keeping pilots safe with quality repairs.
Walt will be missed, by all.
Peace to the Mangon family.

We are simply stunned by this loss. The aviation family feels so much smaller and dimmer with Walt's passing. He gave so much to us, his friends, customers, family and coworkers - a tremendous legacy.
We will stay the course, Walt, while you take the next flight. Save us right seat, there where dreams are born and time is never planned . . . . second star on the right and straight on until morning.
We will miss you so.

Walt was the head of the Mangon legacy.
A good man that loved aviation and aviation loved him. Lucky to have known him.
