MIKE & SHERRY, SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
EMERY & DENISE KRUEGER

My husband (Jesse Lucio - SHS Class of '77) has always spoken very highly of his former football coach, and was saddened to learn of this loss for your family and the community. Jesse has very fond memories of Friday night games with Wally as quarterback. Our prayers are with you.

Dad with Golf sweater, Christmas 2005

We all had great memories of Walt. I have known him since I have been a young child growning up in the same neighborhood and seeing him around all the hockey games back in the day when school sports were fun. I have great respect for him , and he will truely be missed!!! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
God Bless

Class of 89 SHS

Dear Mercy, Wally, and all -- My sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad. I know it hurts terribly. We don't know why this is. But if there is any consolation, it is in knowing that you were blessed with having someone in your life you loved so much. Hang in there. A friend who knows something about grief once wrote, "Be open to the pain of your broken heart. God -- and caring people -- will enter through its brokenness." You all are in my prayers.

Wally and Mercy, Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Laurie, Susie and family, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers and Walt will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Ron and Elaine Slough

I had the opportunity to work and coach with Walt from '73- '76 at Springfield HS. Walt was a mentor and a dear friend. He was a very dedicated coach and teacher. I have fond memories of my time with Walt. My deepest sympathy and prayers to the entire family.
