Wally. The man that didn't go unseen. Intelligent, brash, confident, quick to offer a joke (no matter the quality).

I can remember on multiple occasions, Wally would come into the room and have that Wally-patent smirk on his face. We all knew what was coming next, a swing-for-the-fences joke (witty pun, etc.) that will will either bring us all to our knees in laughter or leave us shaking our heads with embarrassment (which Wally did not...

Wally was wonderful. He gave so much and so intelligently. I knew him as a parent as well as a community activist, and he had good things to say about my dad after my dad's death. Just one of the good ones.

Oh yes, I love seeing him with hair!

Wally was a kind, devoted and dedicated leader who made the difference in the lives of many kids and young adults in Ojai and beyond. He will certainly be missed.
