I have known Father McCauley since I was a little girl and I am now 59 yers old. My older brother, Larry Liljestrom went to Jesuit High School in Dallas, Texas. Fr. McCauley was his teacher and principal. Fr. would come and visit us often as my father's job transferred him to many states. Fr. was a strong influence on me, especially in my teenage years.
Father McCauley is now with our Father in Heaven, He has fulfilled his last goal. I will always remember his wit and words of...

Father McCauley has been a friend of my family since my childhood in Dallas. He has always been there for me in my life with words of wisdom and wit. I am so sad to have him passed but selfishly so as he has finally reached his goal and is with God now. Bless you Father Walt and bless your family and friends.

Fr Walt was a very special soul who made a significant impact on my life during a very tenuous time. He made me feel the love of God like no other spiritual adviser had before. We loved hosting him and having our children sit around the dinner table listening to his tales of his travels in Ireland!
