Not sure what to say?

Tim and I were neighbors and school mates. We grew up playing sports in the cow pasture nearby, along with our siblings. I didn´t know that Tim was a war hero, or how much he gave back to his fellow warriors until I read his obituary. To me, he was a sweet boy, kind and thoughtful, with the exception of when he managed to squash some worms in my school books one rainy morning while we waited for the school bus. I wasn´t aware until he told me on the school bus - at which point I screamed in...

A life well lived and we're all the better for having known Tim. Reading this remarkable eulogy I wish I had known him better and been able to spend more time with him. This is a beautiful, meaningful, and moving tribute for your Dad. While I didn´t get to "meet" him I do get to know the best parts of him through you. I know he is so very proud of you and your brother. You and every life he touched is his legacy. I am sure he will be with you all for this celebration of an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, colleague, and friend. Blessings for all who love and miss him.

Sally and family, Ginny and I wish to express to you our sorrow regarding Tim's death. It is a shock since we did not know of his passing. He devoted many hours to the Queensbury School District and students striving to improve education in all respects. He had many talents and worked hard for injured military personnel, helping them toward a happy, healthy life. Our prayers are with all of you.

Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.
