WALTER MEYER

Walter W. Meyer Beloved husband and father Walter W. Meyer, 83, passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2015, at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Walter was born in Newark, N.J., and resided in Maplewood, N.J., for many years before moving to Union, N.J., 12 years ago. An avid Yankees and Giants fan, he most enjoyed spending time with his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Madeline (nee Horning); devoted father of Don, and Walter and his wife, Eileen; loving grandfather of Jennifer and her husband, Christopher, and adoring great-grandfather of Bridget and Keyleigh. Private arrangements were handled by Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad St., Hillside, N.J.
