Walter M. Mischer

AS a friend of Edna Ruth , WALTER'S SISTER, I SEND SINCERE SYMPATHY.

Mr. Mischer was a wise and generous man. Many years ago he helped us start a horticulture business in Belize. Later I had the good fortune to work for him in Belize at his Yalbac Citrus operation. I'll always remember his advice to me one day when we were discussing equipment needs for the farm. He said in his spare way: "Robert, I'll get you what you need, not what you want"
Many times I have remembered that advice in deciding what is a real "need" versus a "want" in my own life and...

Walt, Paula and Family,

Your father was always an inspiration in business and so very nice to us when we moved to Houston. You and yours are in our thoughts.

It was a great pleasure to know and work for Mr Mischer all these years at Yalbac. He will be greatly missed by the many people who's lives he has enhanced here. the prayers of our family are with you throughout this time.

Mrs Mischer, Walt & Paula, Edwina and I are very sorry to hear of Mr. Mischer's passing. Although we have been gone from Texas since 1994 the name Mr. Mischer frequently comes up in our conversations. Edwina has the fondest memories of her days at The Mischer Company. Mr. Mischer gave me my first job in Houston and provided me with the best education in real estate development that one could ever have. He believed in letting you figure it out and if you ever ran into problems, he was away...

Mary,Walt & Paula, I am so sorry to hear about Walter's passing. He was the finest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. All of you always treated my family as if we were part of yours... and now we feel the loss of your loved one, as he was one of ours. It was nice to see Walter just a few short months ago in Easterly. He was happy to be there, and it showed. He will always be in our thoughts, as will all of you.

Mary, my mother Dorothy Hudgins speaks of you often and I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and your family. My prayers are with you but I know you are surrounded by the love you enjoyed throughout your marriage to this great man. Life brought you together and the memories will forever be strong.

We didn't personally know Walter but know of his fine family. I
worked with his sister for 20 yrs.

I am saddened to learn of Mr. Mischer death. He was a gentleman and a true Texan. I did not know him that well, but if you lived in Texas you certainly knew the name Misher. May God Bless you Mary and all the family.
