In expressing my deepest condolences for the passing of Vice-President Mondale, I had hopes of attending the public services scheduled for September in Washington DC. I could not find any further details for any services in DC -- so my heartfelt words will have to serve as my expression of respect and honor for our dear friend Walter Fritz Mondale.

You were Vice President way before I came into the world, but I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for our nation. I've heard many wonderful stories about you, mostly from the man you helped mentor when he was a Senator, President Joe Biden. Thank you for helping him along the way in his career.
