Mulcahy Family,
My deepest condolences on Walter's passing. I have many fond memories of him at Taft Furniture and at the Furniture Markets where he was always willing to help a young road salesman learn the business. My father before me and I always had a great fondness and respect for him. He will truly be missed.

What memories I have of Walt Mulcahy. As a good friend of John's in our early years playing youth hockey and later at LaSalle, Mr. Mulcahy was always a solid presence, a rock who was at most times soft spoken but could always be counted on when we needed a pep talk, or a kick in the butt. My memories go further back because I have the photos of Walt and my uncle, the late Jonn Drislane, playing basketball for CCHS in 1940. He was quite an asset to every one he touched.

Our memories of Walter and family go back many years, they are all happy ones. Many funny stories, he had a great and unique sense of humor. May God bless you all.

I will miss Mr. Mulcahy. He was lifelong friend and I am so sorry that Mrs. Mulcahy lost her husband and Matt, John, Jimmy and Mary lost a great Dad. Mr. Mulcahy will be missed but never forgotten.
