Not sure what to say?

Very sorry for your loss. In high school, he was always a gentleman and nice to everyone. I remember us betting on baseball games. I saw him a few years ago when he was, I think, getting ready to retire. He hadn't changed any, still a great guy.

Memorable slowpitch softball umpire. Positive, pleasant, and approachable. Christian brother. Peace to thee.

REV BRUCE E BLICKLE/Eugene Softball Umpire.

I have such wonderful memories of my 20's when Joe was a huge part of my life. He was a great guy and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to his family.

What a shock. Last time I saw Joe he had his great smile on his face. Joe is a true gentlemen. He will be missed. Rest in Peace my Friend!

So sad to hear of his death. Joe was truly one of the nice guys and will be missed by friends and family alike.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

We were sorry to hear about Joe. Our families were such good friends and we had a lot of fun times growing up. I am sorry to say we will be out of town that weekend but our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
