My condolences to the family . May you find comfort in your treasured memories and Gods promise to return our loved ones . Psalms37 : the 29

Ted was one of my most favorite people to work with and to know. In 1997, I met him as part of the Westbrook Partners' acquisition of American General's portfolio of master-planned communities. I was tasked with evaluating all the key people. After meeting Ted, I told my bosses that he should be running the company. It was only 10 or so years later that I was proved right. Great man, great mind, one of the best. RIP.

I have heard the words "brave, hero and gentleman" referring to Ted Nelson and nothing could be more fitting for Ted as well as the entire Nelson family whom I have known since early days in Anahuac. God Bless You Ted Jack Johnson
