Walter Newman

I only had a few brief interactions with Walter through his son John, yet I could tell there was a big man in there somewhere. I have to smile at the time I did get a chance to play a whole round of golf with him and John and one of his friends. I was all over the place.... not pretty! Even though I played poorly, I remember his warm, kind personality and big smile; made me feel like we were friends, even though we barely knew each other. My deepest condolences. I shall cherish my indelible memories of Walter, his goodness, warmth and strength, his brilliant mind, that twinkle in the eye and smile which brought peace, comfort and inspiration. I am so sorry for your loss. His memory will be a blessing, and I hold you all in my heart and in my prayers at this most difficult time.

Walt was my first client when I was a young architect working on the magnin stores he was a wonderful man as was his entire family . He will be missed...David jay flood

I spent my summers in the Town of Newman and my grandparents are buried there. Walter was a wonderful continuation of that heritage.
