Not sure what to say?

Walt Niedermeyer cousins,
Since I am the 5th oldest grandchild, and was married at 20 yrs old, I don't remember your family that well - mostly
only Chad and Terry. I DO remember your Dad - and he was always a gentle, sweet, funny man, with a bit of a gruff voice. He was just 18 months younger than my Mom. Since I have lost
both my Dad and Mom, like you, I hope
you can get together and rehash funny,
sad, & bizarre times. My siblings got together

What a beautiful write up about Uncle Walter. My Mom shared with me that the funeral ceremony was equally beautiful and she enjoyed all the people who shared something about his life, especially hearing about Uncle Walt telling stories all the way to the beach. I remember and appreciate him as a fun, loving uncle and the member of a family who worked at living life to the fullest - something which becomes so much more valued as people get older and time seems to pass so quickly. Walt was one of the great influences in my life. My condolences to his family.

Walt gave me my start in the engineering field when he hired me at American Timber and Trading, I worked there with him for four years. He was always a very fair and just person, I really liked working there. We kept in touch for years after that, I owe my sucess to him for my start.

Thanks Walt for all you did for me. I enjoyed the work on your homes, AT@T, Benwalt Construction, Dant and Russell.

I also enjoyed your family. You and Betty treated me as part of the family. I will always remember you as being one of the best friends that I ever had. I remember the first time I met you. You lived on fifth street in Hillsboro.

My condolences to your family.

I never knew Walter but I know of his daughter Madeleine and I expect some of her beautiful nature and spirit of life has washed of from this man to her , may I take the time to send my condolences to Madeleine and her family . Life is precious . Angela

My deepest sympathy to the family. I had a wonderful time growing up with them.

Uncle Walt was one of the most approacable brothers for me. I will never forget the Cowboy Hat at Midnight Mass.
God Bless
