Not sure what to say?

I just learned that Dr. Nosal has passed...I was thinking about him today, as I do from time to time. He counseled me when I was a senior in high school. It was a day long experience learning about my aptitudes and interests. Afterward he sat with my parents and me and spoke at length about his findings. He was kind and gracious and I felt so very fortunate for the experience. Though it was just one day, he opened my eyes to all of the things that I could hope to be and I am so grateful for it.

You all know Walt was the smartest, kindest, most interesting, giving person I and my family have ever known. We miss him and Ruth very much. Love, Sandra Milstein and Family xoxo

Walt Nosal was a giving ,loving ,intelligent man who was wonderful to my entire family. We will miss him and Ruth for ever. Love to his family. Xo Sandra Milstein

Dr. Nosal was an amazing man. I knew nothing when my grandmother Mary sent me to see him and he taught me how to breathe.26 years later I am still using the breathing techniques he taught me and helping others to do the same in my counseling practice. He was a very nice person who wasted no time getting to the point. He was caring and precise.I miss him and consider myself lucky to have known him. All the best to his family.

My condolences to Dr. Nosal's family. Dr. Nosal counseled me in my freshman year convincing me I was more suited to a career in finance than medicine. I believe he was right as I was a bank examiner for 40+ years and enjoyed it immensely. I wish I would have thanked him personally.

Dr. Nosal was an exceptional person: he was dedicated to helping all who came into his path, passing along concern, wisdom, and kindness. He lived the Jesuit ideal of being a man for others. We are grateful for his work at John Carroll for so many years. Jeanne Colleran Academic Vice President, JCU

Walter Nosal and I were friends for over 60
years. He was my teacher, business associate
and confidant. He helped us build the Women's
Federal into the most successful savings bank
in the country. I've been searching for one
word that describes his admirable characteristics. The word that comes to mind
is balanced. Very few people achieve his great assets. Every one in my family joins me in expressing our sincere sympathy to those of you who are grieving. Sincerely...

To Bob and the entire Nosal family, I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Nosal was an amazing man. He counseled me in high school. While my career didn't go in the direction that he suggested, he has had a positive and encouraging effect on my life. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Family, Ruthie and Walt were my mom and dad. They will always be in my heart. Love you all, Sandra Milstein
