Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy, only just heard. Very sorry for your loss. Andy (DIAS)

Dear Nancy, I just found out about your great loss. I am sorry about your husband's passing away. Please accept my condolences. -

Nancy and Caitriona, you are in our thoughts today. Tina

Nancy and Caitriona - You will be in my prayers as you adjust to this loss. Walt was such a kind soul at work. And I will always remember our households of ferrets with laughter, especially when we ferret-sat for each other, 10 ferrets in all! May you find peace and strength as you go forward. I will be thinking of you!

Dear Nancy and Caitriona,

Shirley and I are so sorry to hear of your sudden loss, and our hearts and thoughts are with you both right now. I have so many warm and funny memories of Walter from when I was little in Vermont and more recently from my visit with the three of you in MN in 2002 and your trip through TX last year. Walter was a remarkable man to have as an uncle--and one with a particularly fine sense of humor. Its hard to process his loss, and I know my mom is missing him...

Nancy,
I am so sorry to hear of your sudden loss of Walt. I heard much fond mention of him from you through the years even though I never met him. It will be a hard transition for you, I am sure. But please know that you have support from "afar", from us in Milwaukee. Thinking of you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Walt. I worked with Walt at West Publishing and I never worked with a nicer man. We used to call him "Uncle Walt" because he reminded us of a nice uncle, giving advice, never judging and always seemed to be in great humor. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Nancy and Caitriona,

My sympathies to you in your loss. I did not know Walt, but by all accounts and your many mentions of Walt, Nancy, he was a superb guy. I'm sorry for your loss of this dear man.

I knew Walt from West Pub days, and have fond memories of Walt, Jerry Halstenson and some luncheons we attended--always was cheerful, funny, and much admired for his strong character--Bob Wiese
