Walter Pankiewicz

Walter was a wonderful man. My heart felt prayers goes out to the Pankiewicz family. Walter was always at home behind the bar talking to customers at Giovanni's.

I loved your Father, every time we talked I felt like I either learned something or I was amazed by the story he would tell me.Since Losing my Dad at a young age I always looked at Walter as my Father figure. He raised two wonderful children and was very proud of son-in-law and grand children. I know he cherished the two beautiful women that he shared his life with Edna and Chris. Our prayers fly out to the Pankiewicz family on the loss of a superb police officer and a really great guy. Walt always seemed so relaxed and easy going until you discovered how intent he was and committed to the job. We were at Area 2 and 11th & State. I was beyond elated when he bought Carl's figuring I wouldn't have to wait in the long lines in the cold. He is really someone that is going to be missed.
