In Middlesex Hospice, Middletown, Monday, September 5, 2011, Walter T. Paskiewicz of Guilford. Husband of the late Jean Lambert. Walter was born in Brooklyn, NY Nov. 10, 1923 son of the late Michael and Mary Paskawich. Father of Jill Conklin and her predeceased husband Doug of Damascus, PA, Keith Paskiewicz and his wife Jan of Elgin, IL, Kim Paskiewicz and his wife Susan of Phoenix, AZ and Kurt Paskiewicz and his wife Madelyn of Guilford. Brother of Joseph Paskawych of TX and Steven Horozko of PA. Also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by his second wife Daisy Dzanowicz Paskiewicz. Mr. Paskiewicz served his country during WW II in the US Army Air Force. He worked at Wallingford Steel company for over thirty-five years and loved to spend time fishing and raising his Labrador Retrievers. Memorial services will be held at the Guilford Funeral home, 115 Church St, Guilford on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 3pm. Friends may call prior to the services on Sunday from 2 – 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place privately. Those wishing to remember Mr. Paskiewicz with a memorial contribution are asked to make donations to Middlesex Weiss Hospice Unit, c/o Middlesex Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
