To Bonnie and family - it was my great honor to know and work with Walt. He was the consummate gentleman, always ready to provide a kind word or bit of sage advice. Andy and I wish you solace at this sad time, and may he rest in peace.

I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Peechatka. I've known the family for most of my life. He was a wonderful man and will be sadly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. God bless

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Bonnie and the Peechatka family in Walt's passing. I had the privilege of working with Walt when he was Director of the Pa. State Soil and Water Conservation Commission in the Department of Agriculture. He was very dedicated to his work and created a wonderful image for all of us. May fond memories and the love he had for his family help bring peace to you during this time of sadness.
