Judy, Eric, Brian and Kristen...still hard to believe. Thoughts and prayers for all of you now and in the coming days and weeks. Mr. Peterson had such a unique way of teaching. He ALWAYS took the time to make me feel welcome in his class. He was such a great man. He will always have my love and respect. May GOD Bless him. Sending Prayers to help his beautiful wife Judy and the rest of his family get through this this EXTREMELY hard time.
Sincerely, SUSAN ROBINSON MITCHELL

Our prayers are with you all as we remember the life that Walt lived to the fullest! Many great memories with the family, at school and the lake!

Walt Peterson's star will forever shine....most of all in the small village of Avoca.....It will shine for his incredible love for his students at the school and the community. God bless his family, friends and most of all, those who had the utmost respect and admiration for him!!!

Many wonderful memories of this very special man. If there isn't a wrestling team in heaven Walt will form one. Prayers to the family-especially to Judy.
