To my long time friend. Thank you so much for teaching me about the PT BOATS of WWII. Coming to your home and calling you was something I will not forget. Having you at some of my PT BOAT EXHIBITS was a joy. Although we spoke very little while you were at Holyoke Soldiers Home, I called all the time to check on you. I know that soon you will once again step onto PT-308 with those crewmen that went before you, bow high riding the clouds with God, only this time on a peaceful mission. God Bless...

To Walter, Ann, Kathy, Terry and your whole family. I think I first met your Dad in 1973 when Walter and I were both around 20 and I was picking Walter up to probably go to the Kennedy American Legion post for a few beers. Your dad was friendly and good humored but quiet in a sort of nice way that I liked, because my own father had few of those qualities.
