Mr. Powell was an extraordinary man. We met as neighbors, and over the fourteen years we have become good friends. Even though he called me his "baby girl", he never once doubted or questioned my abilities. He was always there for me and I was always there for him, just like good friends and neighbors should be. He was my neighbor, my mentor and my friend...and I will miss him very much.
