Yvonne and family: So very sorry to learn of Wally's death. We enjoyed his company at any Strauss gathering. He always had a gentle smile and kind greetings for us. In fact one can not think of Wally Proehl and not see that gentle smile. God bless you. Bob and Nancy Noonan

The Hageman Family

What a nice "gentle" man the world has lost! Walt was more than my business associate, he was my friend. I will miss his jokes, his eagerness to treat people to a fun bus tour and his gentle nature. Walt, your journey into heaven is paved with the nice things you did for others. We, at Vandalia Bus Lines, will miss you.

Yvonne and family,

Let us all cherish the wonderful memories of life with Walt! He was loved by all and will be deeply missed!

Wally was always on the go and always happy, everytime you saw him, he had a story or joke to tell. The best thing about Wally , he was a good man, someone that people loved to be around. Wallly will be deeply missed by his family and friends but, our memories of him will be with us forever. I hope they have a nice buffet and casino in heaven, if not, Wally will change that.
