Not sure what to say?

I occasionally drive through the Maple Leaf neighborhood where Buzz once lived. Sometimes I try to find his former house with the large detached garage he liked so well. I think of him (and miss him) every time.

Has it really been 10 years since we crossed the panama canal, Buzz?
My wiife (Babsie) wouldn't do the canal? Call the Cuzz, the Buzzard! The Ship's ice cream stand crew new you by name. They always had abig cone readyfor you when we approached them. Had a ball ya'all. "Cigarett-a-buddy forever". Peace be with you "cuz".

Buzz will always be my friend more life,
a great friend in Nathan Hale all three years . God Bless Buzz and family

Russell Munson

I was a Raider at Nathan Hale High School with Buzz. We played football together although he was a year older than me. I always liked the guy and evidently he liked me as he was the one who nominated me to be the school's Letterman's Club President for 1967. I won, and it meant so much to me (but doubt Buzz would have remembered). Just the kind of guy who would like to help someone out if he could; and never seemed to envy anyone. Buzz was just Buzz and that was special. I remember...

"THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND"
Miss you! Thanks for being part of my life.

CHILDHOOD PLAYMATE, LIFELONG FRIEND. WHO IS GOING TO SHELL THE PEANUTS FOR BLARNEYSTONES AT CHRISTMAS? CIGARETTE-A-BUTTI-FOREVER

Buzz was a good teacher, a good coach but most of all a great friend. From watching Husky football at his house, cruising in his beloved Cadillac or 37 Ford or his constant mentoring at The Trojan, he will be greatly missed... Rest in Peace my friend.

Blessings to you Paul, brother and friend. Thank you for sharing Buzz with us.
