Walter was a talented rascal with a quick laugh and a twinkle for mischief in his eye. Overwhelmingly people will acknowledge his culinary talents, and rightfully so; however, he was so much more - a man of conviction, a teacher, leader, warm hearted and adventurous. He will be missed by so many but mostly by those who knew him best.

I am honored I had the opportunity to work with him at a charity event years ago. I send his family, his Angus Barn family and friends my prayers and heart felt sympathies at this time, God just called home his executive chef!
