Just learned of Walt´s passing when my Christmas card to him was returned today. Walt was my godfather, best buddies of my dad Nick Silvestri since their college days. My family moved to CA in the mid-1950s, and Walt and my dad corresponded copiously, first by letter and phone, then by emails (sent to ME because my dad refused to use a computer, while Walt had become rather tech-savvy). He was a sweet man with a wonderful sense of humor. My sympathies to Dave and family.
