Not sure what to say?

Walter was an amazing man of God - kind, gentle & wise, a true friend who could be counted on who was always there with an encouraging word:)

Dr. Schewe became my friend as my sister was dying from cancer in 2007. He was kind enough to officiate at her funeral and was a great comfort to the family. I am truly sorry I waited until now to contact him but he would understand.

I will really miss His humor
---Larry Bailey

Walter Schewe will never be forgotten his prayers, war stories, advise, encouragement, laughter. I could go on and on! Our prayers are with you sweet Chris & family Sharon&John Ashcraft

Such an awesome man. I will always treasure his encouraging words and advice. I do remember his jokes and precious smile. His office at Promise was delightful. I think of him often, my yard is filled with the bright Yellow Four O'clocks and Mint he shared. I will plant another Rose Bush in his memory. God Bless his family during this time.

Precious friend, you have been and always will be loved and respected.See you on the other side.

Walter Schewe was such a kind & gentle man! He touched so many lives during the time he was on this earth. I know that Chris, his children, & grandchildren will miss him dearly! I pray for all of you to receive the comfort of the Lord during this time. "Another soldier has come home," as Janet Paschall sings so beautifully.

Walter always had a big smile and a good word for me at church every Sunday. I was also blessed to fly with him many times. He taught me a lot about being a good pilot and a man. Many will miss this GREAT MAN.
