Walter Schwanke

Dear Schwanke family - I was very sad to hear of Walt's recent death. I had hoped to catch up with all of you over Thanksgiving when my Mom Muriel Jordan comes up to the northeast from her retirement home in FL and we try to have a family reunion at Emmanual. My Dad Norm Jordan just passed away in June '08 and we all grew up together at the old Emmanual Gospel Church where Karen & I were friends. I will still try to be in touch with Karen some other way but any get together we plan, won't...

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I have such great memories of spending so much of my teenage years with you and your family. Your parents were the most inspirational people I have ever known and even through all the years that have passed, I would often think of them and the many family trips they took me on, and treated me like part of the family.
