Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Simendinger, I was so sorry to read of your dear husbands passing. I knew the name right away... " Walt Simendinger''. My parents were Dolores (Dee Schramm) and Bill Fisher from Central High School. My mom passed away on Jan 14, 2008 and my Dad, Jan 21, 2007. In going through some of the greetings my Mom had kept, I found a beautiful Christmas card and picture of your family. Oh how my Mom thought the world of your husband. I remember when you had invited my parents to Vermont...

My condolences to Walt's family and friends. I just read of his death in the online obituaries of the Post-Standard. I only knew him from 1951 to 1953, as a fellow member of the 108th AC&W Squadron, in Syracuse and Newfoundland. My memories of Walt are of a very pleasant, congenial, and friendly person, from whom I never heard an angry or unkind word. The world needs more of his kind.

Dear Jo Ann & family,

We were sorry to hear about the loss of your great husband, father and grandfather. He was truly a great man and one could see the love he gave to his family and the love that was returned. He will be sadly missed. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

We are very sorry for your loss, and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave, Bill, Joanne and family, The service today was a real testament to an influential man much loved by his family. Being a past Mobil employee upon moving to VT in 1975 to work for Champlain Oil I sought out the local Marcoin franchisee. That began my career here and was the near beginnings of Wesco also. I have always enjoyed the the friendly competition and will remember Walt fondly. Regards John Mitchell

Dave and Bill. Very sorry to hear of Walts passing. He was a great man and established a firm foundation for the future of the family. I am sorry I could not be there at the service.

Dear Bill and Dave,

I am very sorry to hear of your father's death,

Bernard Byrne

Jo Ann and family;

I was so sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was truly an exceptional person on all levels. I always loved coming by the office to see my mom because Walt always took time to chat and provide encouragement in my endeavors. I remember fondly both yours and Walt's thoughtfulness over the years.

My Mom loved working for Walt and his respect for his employees is a lesson I've taken forward into my own career.

You are in my thoughts and prayers...
