WALTER SIMPKINS

I trained with Walter at Fort Dix, NJ, back in 1968. He was a great guy! His friendship made the challange of getting through "Basic" a little less stressful. I never saw Walter after Basic and after Vietnam...but I never forgot him. I'm sorry for your loss, Mrs Simpkins!

I will miss your great big smile and hugs.

Walt made everything around him friendly, including the Police Department, and all of Woodstown, for that matter. That was his special and natural instinct. We were all fortunate to be the beneficiaries of the friendliness that he so generously dispensed. His passing and the loss of what he so willingly gave us is, indeed, sad.
