Not sure what to say?

Mary, we have fond memories of Uncle Walter when he visited us in PA but the week we spent with him last October was awesome. We will miss talking to him on the telephone, the many, many stories he told and watching the Dallas Cowboys just will not be the same.
God Bless-Wayne & Betty Skwarlo

Mary & Bill; your loss is God's gain. Another of the "Greatest Generation"
of Veteran's has passed through Muster and joined his fellow countrymen flying the "Heavenly Skies". Thank you for allowing me to visit privately with Walt in his last hours; and thank him for his Service to "OUR COUNTRY"! Fellow Veteran; U.S. Army-Signal Corps, 1964-1967; 1st Signal Group, 313th Signal HQ-Ingrandes, France, Detachment Commander 313th Signal Svc Detachment "E" St. Nazaire, France. We Love...

It was a great honor & privilidge for me to visit with Walt during his last hours on this Earth. Mary & Bill and Margaret and I visited Walt and I went in alone and held his hand and thanked him for "His Service to Our Country". I know he heard me because his electronic monitor's spiked and then went back to normal. Rest in peace Patriot! John G. Runion, Sr.; fellow Veteran.

I worked with Walt at Alexander & Alexander. We shared some travel to out-of-town clients, and also shared some good lunches in Oak Cliff. He was always a gentleman, and his demeanor always showed that he had style and he had class.

Mary, You, Margaret and Walt were my dear extended family during our teen years. You all were always there for me when I needed you. Walt was interested and tuned in to what was happening in our world during those times, and encouraged us to always do our best at whetever we attempted. I know you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Arlene Burleson

Another WWII soldier joins the army of angels. You and Margaret raised a fine young woman we all call Mar. We should all be so lucky to have such a long and well loved life.

Mary, you already know your dad was a special man. I enjoyed so much working with Walt and will always treasure our friendship. He was one of the greatest men I've known and I can't believe he's gone. My heart goes out to you!

I am sorry for your loss. I worked in the A&A office with Walt and have fond memories of him.

Walt and Margaret were our neighbors at their second home they used to own at the Cedar Creek Lake area near Seven Points Texas. We lived across the street and loved when they came down on the weekends or for extended stays. I still have a cook book they gave me for a wedding present and actually use it often and have fond memories of them. Very special people and am sorry for your loss. Brenda Greenhaw Lowe/Kemp Texas
