Not sure what to say?

I worked for Walter from 1989 till he sold Lincoln. He was hard but fair and helped me when I had a problem with alcohol. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to Joan and all of Walter´s family. I had the pleasure of knowing Walter through his lovely daughter Nara, who was a resident of Southwinds where I was the Executive Director. Walter´s love for Nara was apparent in everything he did for Southwinds before and following Nara´s death, and I´m comforted that the two of them are now together forever. My respect for Walter and all that he accomplished in his lifetime is immense. He will be remembered.

Walter was a unique person. Super intelligent and the greatest sense of humor. Visiting with him was always fun. So glad my daughter Alicia Detweiler had such a good relationship with him. He will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear about Walters passing. I met Walter about 4 years ago at The Health Club @ Southpoint. We had a lot of great conversations while taking breaks. We would talk about going to Florida for the winter, I always returned before Walter and would be waiting for his arrival in May at the health club. We would talk about escaping the harsh winter and how lucky we were to be able to go. We both shared October birthdays and enjoyed golfing. I will really miss seeing him and his smile....

We were blessed to have met Walter a few years ago at the Healthclub in Southpointe. He was such a nice man. We enjoyed talking and joking with him about various things! He is definitely going to be missed! May he Rest In Peace!

A wonderful friend and neighbor to my parents, Dr. and Mrs Mark and Fay Moots of Naples, Florida. A wonderful mentor to me. Thank you Walter. Your smile was the best .

I met Walter from his ownership of Lincoln Hydraulics. He would often visit Consolidation Coal mining operations for quality control follow-ups. He was always engaging and things were always improved after his investigative visits. He was super intelligent and had excellent communication skills. His philanthropic donations were outstanding and he improved the lives of many individuals and families. He was a one of a kind generation individual and a true Horatio Alger story. Hard work and...

Walter was amazing person and we enjoyed his humor at Panera every day. He once invited us to Southpointe Golf Course to enjoy a round of golf with him. He showed us how by striking a hole-in-one on a par 3!!! It cost him. lol. He bought us several rounds of drinks afterwards ! He is severely missed already in his breakfast group. We know there´s a golf course in Heaven Walt! You the best!!!

Rest in peace Walter. The guys at Panera are truly going to miss you. Will always remember taking care of him and talking with him while working at Panera. He was always so nice and joking with me. You all have my sincere condolences at this difficult time.
