Not sure what to say?

Walt was responsible for the local Boy Scout Councils development of Cub Scout and Webelos residence camps beginning in the 1980s. It was the residence camp program at Chesebrough Scout Reservation that prompted Paul & Nessie Chesebrough to gift the council funds for the development of it's first multipurpose building. Walt earned national recognition for the implementation of one of the first Cub Scout resident summer camping programs in the early 1980s, we will be missed by many.

Our church, Cambrian Park United Methodist Church, has been the Charter Organization for Walt's Cub Pack 374 since the mid 1980's. Walt was the Cubmaster of our Pack 374 for 20 or more years. After that he stayed on with the Pack in other Leadership roles. My two sons were in the Pack thanks to Walt's selfless efforts. Walt was a friend and a mentor to thousands of boys, their parents, their siblings and friends. What a huge agent for selfless good Walt was. Thank you Walt. God's Rest to you

I have very fond memories of my visits to Uncle Walt's house as a young child, and then as a father myself bringing my young sons to visit. I haven't been able to visit since we moved to the Philadelphia area, but will always remember him as a great man. Our condolences to Patty, Jeff, Linda and the rest of the family.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
