Not sure what to say?

Gloria, I was sad to learn of Wally´s passing. Wally was a talented lawyer, a wonderful role model and a delightful person. My thoughts are with you a d your family.

Oh Gloria, I just heard the news from friend who saw and shared it with me. I'm so sorry for the loss for you all. And, selfishly, for myself... You know he was like my surrogate dad and I loved him dearly. I'm so glad I saw you both, even if briefly, when I was in Oregon last fall. I will cherish memories of our talks and his smile and his mentorship and wit forever. XO Mona

Gloria, it's been a long time since Suzanne and Steffy met in preschool and continued taking piano lessons from Pat Lotz, but one thing I remember most about those years was how involved Wallie and your family was such a close knit family. You are blessed with many happy memories.

Wally was one of the great gentlemen of the Oregon bar. Whether you were an opponent, an co-counsel, on a committee together, it didn't matter. You always knew you could trust his word and work things out or at least "fight" in a highly professional and courteous way. Need a favor, ask Wally. Need advice, ask Wally. He was there.

Seeing the two of you with Charley religiously almost everyday.... Wally with his slow stroll to pick up balls left behind by lackadaisical Charley or to replenish water at the Pioneer Woman Statue... Gloria lovingly watching everything transpire from her portable chair... reading the newspaper--musing...enjoying the park to its fullest. Friendly banter with other park folks....Both of you sitting there together--so happy--- so content-- so much the definition of love. The playful banter...

Gloria, it sounds like you had a wonderful life with Wally. Ralph and I are sorry for your loss.

Dear Aunt Gloria, Brad, John and Suzanne, So sorry to hear about Uncle Wally. Our thoughts are with you. Greg and Sandra Mahan

Gloria, so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Wally from the MAC club, and then walking into Cafe d Artists after 9/11 and seeing Wally and you smile at me. We had dinner together that night which was such a comfort. Rest In Peace Wally.
