Not sure what to say?

I worked side by side with Walt for 20 years at Ruger. We shared each other's ups and downs, and family crisises and celebrations.
Travelling with him was always a treat...without fail there would be a memorable incident to talk about after each trip. We laughed a lot. I loved Walt and will keep his memory alive forever. My kindest thoughts to Mary Ann. Fondly, Paula O'Malley

Walter Sych was a lion among persons. He was unselfish, always willing to let others take credit that should have been due him. He was as good a leader as one could hope to experience, and a mentor to many. Reading the remarks from family, friends, and co-workers, we can all take comfort from our life's experience with Walt. I will miss him and cherish his memory.

To the Sych Family: Altho I never met Mr. Sych I want to send my Thanks to him for what he did at Ruger. Also I would like to send my condolences to the Sych Family for a loss at this time. From reading the guest book you could see he was loved and touched a great many people thru out his life.

Memories of Uncle Walt: Laughing at Indian Shutters when he almost tipped the table over (was it too many Manhattans as Aunt Mary suggested or his long legs as Uncle Walt suggested??!?); TRYING to sail the sunfish on Long Island Sounds and laughing everytime we fell in; sitting on the back steps while Uncle Walt grilled hamburgers and hot dogs; turning his VW Beetle around in the driveway; his handsome smile and laugh; making Christmas cookies and wrapping gifts; dyeing Easter Eggs, taping...

May I express my deepest condolences to Walter's immediate and extended family. Walt's family is much larger than those that knew him personally; he was a mentor and inspiration to those that saw him teach, speak or befriend.

He will be greatly missed.

Matthew

Walt was my boss for only a few years. During that time, I never heard him raise his voice and he always carried himself with dignity. As we are saddened by his passing, may we also celebrate his life. My sincerest condolences.

My father and I worked with Walt for many years at Rugers, and we were very saddened to hear of his passing. Our condolences to his wife and family. Jim & Dave Poleio (Berwick, Maine)
