Not sure what to say?

Val, I love you man. We worked together at CRMC we had such a good time. You even convinced me to be Santa for a Toys for Tots campaign. I sincerely hope to know where you lay to rest...I Loved being an advocate with you for veterans at CRMC. I will visit you Val at your place of rest. You live within us. Our Corps will never die.

Hi this is Howard or WOO's sone Keith. So very sorry, so sorry so very late. My Dad and Val kind of lost touch over the years/ My Dad passed in 2014. I am going through my Dads photos and memoriabiliae and have a few photos of Val I WOULD LOVE TO "HUMBLY" PASS ALONG. I so pray someone see's this via this interface. Your DAD WAS AN AWESOME MAN, someone my Dad so respected! Even though he always teased him about being part of the US Navy. See me on FB or email at [email protected]

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting "Val" when I assisted him in making an appointment for his vehicle to be serviced at Encinitas Ford. I still treasure the handwritten card he gave me and still have it in my office. What an inspiration you are Val. With deep respect and love, Judy Reitman

It was with great pleasure that I knew the Valentines. Val was an uplifting spirit that always wore the smile you see in that picture. He loved his wife Claire more than any words could express. He had been broken hearted since her passing and now that he is in heaven I know he is at peace. He no longer needs to sit on the porch sipping coffee in the morning to talk to her from earth. He is part of a dying generation that has wisdom we will never get back. Thank you Val for being a part in...

Val was a great man and such a kind spirit. He always had a smile on and loved all he knew. I was blessed to have known him and Claire and they both hold a special place in my heart. I know he is in heaven now with his love, Claire.

To the family of the wonderful man who Val was. Such a wise, loving & caring man. He always made time to listen. Always a smile for everyone. He is with his true love Claire now. He will truly be missed-a man who knew how to live life. I will be sure my grandaughter Kirra Rose ( your great-granddaughter) will truly treasure you forever-she knows how much you loved her. Thank you Val for being you-Debra & Kevin Fultz

Fair winds and following seas for you, Sgt Major.

know Walter through his daughter Deb- he was a good man devoted to his family his military service and his work - May memories of him help his family with his transition I see him smiling as he is in the obituary photo standing with his wife saying It is ALL GOOD.
