Walt was such a fine person, and because of his and my son Laif's long time friendship, starting as neighbors, I was lucky to meet Walt. Laif and Walt had a lot of enjoyable time together, and with love. Having just met Walt twice in Absecon, his & my friendship became that over phone calls. I am grateful to have gotten to know Walt, and he will be greatly missed by Laif and me.

Walter was a sparkling personality. I got to know him with working together with his wife Carol. Though he lived to a ripe old age his loss is like that of a young friend.
